Final Fantasy VIII - A Story That's Different From Others

Final Fantasy VIII for the Nintendo Gamecube is with no doubt one of the very best video games ever created. Not only does this offer more than its predecessors, in addition, it has all the same items that fans have come to expect from the Final Fantasy series. Final Fantasy VIII has something else which will make it stand out from each of the other games - a storyline that's different from its predecessors.

The narrative in the game is place two million years before the events at the original Final Fantasy. King Gestahl has died and the people of the kingdom are fighting over the throne. Every time a new prince named Cid arrives, his character is quite different from previous incarnations of him. Cid is not just more laid back and fun to be around, but he has a more daring side, so that he becomes a hero, rather than only a leader.

There are a whole lot of differences between this game and the remainder of the series. In Thamasa, the main character is named Golbez. Rather than being a king, he is a notorious warlord that has been banished from his own kingdom due to a crime he committed. As a result of this, Golbez decided to start a new life as a vagabond and journeys across Thamasa to find a new method to achieve his objectives.

His first adventure is truly the excursion from Thamasa to Dalmasca, which he makes in search of a legendary weapon called the Gi. He is unable to find it in his travels, but he discovers some type of hint from an unknown party penis and eventually makes it to Dalmasca after defeating his way throughout the town's dungeons. From there, he sets out to search for a way to destroy the curse placed on the town. Unfortunately, his attempts prove unsuccessful and he's killed in battle by Squall.

Following his departure, the people of Dalmasca are made to vow to serve the curse in order to keep the Gi from slipping into the wrong hands and killing more people. Because of this, the story takes off at a brand new direction and becomes much more interesting.
